1. Probably the most enjoyable way to reduce stress is to eat. Many people spend a little extra cash on treats
for themselves when they get stressed out in order to manage their stress. This is because carbohydrates release
serotonin, that all important happy hormone. You don’t need to eat cake though to feel the benefits of stress
relief, if you don’t fancy ruining your diet try pasta or bread instead which works just as well.
2. An alternative stress therapy method is spiritualism, which can encompass a variety of different methods of
stress relief. Crystals and stones of a certain type for example, are said to reduce stress levels as well as
methods like meditation and building a positive karma.
3. One of the most common methods of how to relieve stress is to listen to your favourite music. It’s simple and
easy to do and has great worry free results and can set your mood for the rest of the day. Putting on your
favourite songs or just some classic feel good music will really lighten your mood and reduce stress.
4. Too much harsh lighting and bright colours like red around us can actually promote a stressful atmosphere.
Especially if you have stress at work or your home has halogen lights it can cause headaches and tension as well as
high stress levels. Try taking a time out from the harsh lights, if you are at work go for a walk or get some fresh
